Joseph Aslaner

Clinical Director

Registered Psychotherapist

Joe provides therapy to individuals, couples and families facing various mental health challenges, addictions and marital conflicts.

Joe began his career at a residential rehab facility, supporting individuals and family members impacted by behavioural and substance-based addictions. Through this experience, Joe developed a desire to treat addiction systemically; not only treating the individual, but the impact of addiction on the entire family. Joe went on to receive additional training in couples and family therapy, completing Gottman Level 1 training.

Joe holds a certification as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He employs the "Facing the Shadows" model developed by Patrick Carnes to address sexual addiction.

Outside of his work with addiction and couples, Joe works with women seeking to reconnect with their spouses and men on various mental health challenges.

With a Bachelors of Religion, a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling, and over 10 years experience in faith-based organizations, Joseph is well versed in integrating faith with treatment. If this is of interest, please inform him during intake.

In his free time, Joe enjoys cooking for his family and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs - Go Dawgs!
